Vítkovice Cylinders are the newest member of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy Codes and Standards Divison (IAHE-CSD) 18. 6. 2019

VÍTKOVICE CYLINDERS, a.s. are a global leader in hydrogen storage and transportation. Because hydrogen storage technologies are high-tech, they are given extreme emphasis in terms of safety and standardization. Technical director od Vítkovice Cylinders, Ing. Pavel Kucera, Ph.D. participates in several working groups within the international ISO standardization and CEN European standardization. These activities are important in terms of promoting national interests in global and European hydrogen technology standards, and, last but not least, engaging in international discussions as part of overall standard-setting. Ing. Pavel Kucera, Ph.D. is currently a member of the prestigious IAHE-CSD, the "International Association for Hydrogen Energy Codes and Standards Divison, in the framework of a workshop entitled First International Forum on Hydrogen Codes, Standards and Safety organized in Foshan, China." Members of this group are many world experts in various hydrogen technologies (electrolysis, hydrogen dispensing, storage, etc.) and their comprehensive safety. This grouping is focused on pre-normative research in all of the above areas, which would then be reflected primarily in ISO standards.
